Loyal fans of the pop star are calling for that a individual who breached a fence and seized the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared footage shows the individual from Australia pushing past media personnel and lunging at Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade accompanied by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

History of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a performance. His Instagram profile features recordings of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last December.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," commented an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Many followers accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented a further response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while some requested social media platforms to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In footage circulating online, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Hundreds of fans had congregated in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including several who had queued for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the second of a two-film version of the well-known Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which centers on the surprising friendship between two very different characters.

The musical itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful film of 2024 in the UK, and earned a dozen Oscar nominations, earning two for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
